From Rose Hill Road there are many trailheads from parking spots on Lower Rose Hill Road, at Rose Hill Park, and from the Scott Road Area. Trails go east toward Orchard Road and Juniper, west toward Peterson Creek and Tower Hill, and south to Joyce Gulch. Scott Road is the new access point for Juniper Hills Park. Most of the trails are unmarked, there are gates here and there, there are grazing fences to the south, and there are some private property areas. There are many days of hiking in this area and the best way to learn the routes is to explore.
